The Secular Festal Calendar

At its current rate of expansion, the secular calendar of feasts (according to which today, for example, is International Children's Day and yesterday was no doubt International Donut Day, which superseded what would otherwise have been International Pet A Bunny Day) is accelerating so quickly, that soon there will need to be an international institutional Reform, to restrain popular secular piety from its excesses, and restore an ordered sparsity to the secular calendar.

All of this causes me to doubt that the Freemasons are really holding the reins of the New World Order, since we all know that Masonic prudence is more than capable of limiting the number of feasts.

(This post has been a joke, brought to you by Schubert's Piano Sonata in A minor.)
